HANCOCK COUNTY — The Hancock County Council this week agreed to fund a nearly $500,000 project to upgrade the county’s tornado siren system.
The council will pull the funding from the county’s food and beverage tax and the county economic development income tax funds.
Cost estimates from vendors will be approved by the Hancock County Board of Commissioners before the project moves forward.
