INDIANAPOLIS — Footlite Musicals presents “The Addams Family,” a musical based on characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams whose work was frequently seen in “New Yorker” magazine. This macabre tale tells the story of Gomez Addams’ worst nightmare: daughter Wednesday, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a respectable family. This Footlite premiere is directed by Ed Trout. “The Addams Family” is playing at Footlite Musicals, 1847 N. Alabama St., Friday through Oct. 9.
