Get to writing during workshop
Part I of the Midwest Writers Workshop on July 23 at Ball State University is still open for registration.
The genre-specific learning sessions are designed for writers serious about pursuing a given genre. Attendees will spend the day with the instructor and other writers with shared interests.

Writers network at event
Network with other writers for inspiration and support from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. July 16 at Hancock County Public Library.
People who attend this monthly meeting are encouraged to bring six copies of up to 10 printed pages of work to read aloud to the group for discussion and mutual encouragement. First-time visitors are welcome to sit in and observe.
