Darlene Enola (Barngrover) Redmon, 82, Morristown, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. She was born on July 20, 1941, in Shelby County, to Emerson Earl and Edith May (Spurlin) Barngrover.

Darlene was the owner and operator of Darlene’s Cleaning Services. She also worked at Western Electric for 15+ years, Indiana Box Factory, Blue Bird Cafe, and The Copper Kettle. Darlene loved to camp, boat, and fish. She also loved to play BINGO, play in her vegetable garden, can vegetables, and listen to music. She supported the Pacers along with the Colts. She would give the shirt off her back to help anyone that was in need. But above all, Darlene loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Darlene was a tremendously loving sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Darlene attended faith services while residing at Morristown Manor.

Darlene is survived by her loving children: William Allen (Tammy) Slevin, Deloris (Joe) Hodson, and Loree (Rick) Tweedy; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Sue (Jim) Whisman; twin brother, Darrel (Marsha) Cutsinger; beloved dog, Colby; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; adoptive mother, Erva Bennett; and brothers: Gilbert, Earl, Garnet, and Kermit.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Park Cemetery.
