Letter to the Editor: Let’s band together to help another Greenfield

On May 21, 2024, the small town of Greenfield, Iowa, was hit by a large and violent tornado. The tornado tore a path through the town of 2,000 residents, turning houses, trees, and cars into rubble. There were deaths and injuries, and the town’s hospital had to be evacuated. This is a horrific situation for any town, and my heart aches for the residents of this other Greenfield. I believe as residents of Greenfield, Indiana, we should band together and help this community recover. I encourage everyone to donate to the Greater Greenfield Community Foundation’s tornado relief fund (https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=85VQDHYE2DEMU) or to another worthy nonprofit providing tornado relief, such as Team Rubicon or the Y’all Squad.
