The Kathy Dowling Aquatic Center, which features diving boards, climbing walls and water slides, has a soft opening Memorial Day weekend.
GREENFIELD – The free splash pad at Riley Park is open, and the community’s pool will open for the season soon.
The Kathy Dowling Aquatic Center has a soft opening May 26 and May 27. The pool is open those days from noon to 7 p.m. but closes for the final week of May to accommodate the school calendar. Regular pool hours begin June 3. The aquatic center is located in Riley Park at 300 W. Apple St., Greenfield.
The pool hosts regular swim lessons for children of all ages throughout the summer; register at parksingreenfield.com. The pool also has passes available for individuals or families, as well as party space to rent cabanas on certain days and hours the pool is open to the community.
