GREENFIELD — Twenty-eight children received First Communion during a Mass on April 13 at St. Michael Catholic Church. This marks the first time for them to receive the bread and wine of Communion during a service. Each class dresses formally for the annual service celebrating the sacrament, which the students receive with their families during the Mass.
