KidsPlay to perform spring show

GREENFIELD – Tickets are available now for the upcoming children’s theater production of “The Doctor Is In” by KidsPlay Inc.

Performances are at 7 p.m. April 19 and April 20; and 2 p.m. April 21 at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts in downtown Greenfield. Tickets are $5 presale at Hometown Comics, $6 online or $7 at the door. Hometown Comics is located at 1040 N. State St., Greenfield. Online tickets are at crazylakeacting.com.

“Brothers Grimm” play coming to EHHS

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Eastern Hancock High School students are preparing for the upcoming production of “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon.”

The show will be at 7 p.m. April 12, 7 p.m. April 13, and 2 p.m. April 14.

Charlottesville Lions Fish Fry this weekend

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Pick up a tenderloin or enjoy fried fish at the Charlottesville Lions Fish Fry this weekend.

The drive-through or dine-in event is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Charlottesville Community Building, 10165 E. 25N., Charlottesville.

Swift party coming to Riley home

GREENFIELD – Celebrate Taylor Swift’s latest album in a local event that ties Greenfield’s famous poet to the pop star.

Mr. Riley’s Taylor Swift Album Party will be 6-8 p.m. April 18 at the James Whitcomb Riley Boyhood Home, 250 W. Main St., Greenfield.

Space-themed art exhibit at Twenty North Gallery

GREENFIELD – Explore local art in a solar eclipse-themed exhibit at a downtown Greenfield gallery.

“Total Eclipse of the Sun! Light and Dark” exhibit will feature all mediums highlighting light and dark, sun and shadow, planets and stars. The exhibit will be at the Twenty North Gallery, 20 N. State St., Greenfield throughout the month of April. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. An artist reception is coming up from 6:30-8:30 p.m. April 12.
