GREENFIELD, IN
Charles Alan Adams, 78, recent resident of Greenfield, formerly of Loganville, Georgia died Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at IU Health University Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born May 7, 1945 in Oceanside, California to the late Charles J. and Atta Marie (Morris) Adams.
Charles was a 1963 graduate of Howe High School, Indianapolis and served in the US Air Force from 1965 until 1969. He worked as a skilled tradesman for Western Electric, Indianapolis, later retiring from Lucent Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia. He was employed with Ace Hardware of Loganville, Georgia for many years after retiring from Lucent Technologies. He was an avid sports fan, especially Notre Dame sports. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, spending time with his wife, family, and his close friends.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (Odell) Adams whom he married in 1989, daughters, Tina (Jeff) Daffron, Tracy (Jobie) Whitaker, both of Greenfield, brother, Robert (Tanya) Adams of Huntsville, Alabama, grandchildren, Jaret Whitaker, Tylar Whitaker, Tori Daffron, Jayden Daffron all of Greenfield, nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, and a brother George Adams.
At the family’s request there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date. Arrangements for Charles have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.
