G-C kindergarten roundups April 15-18

GREENFIELD – Greenfield-Central Community Schools will greet the newest class of kindergarteners in roundup events this month, registering children for the 2024-2025 school year.

Greenfield-Central elementary schools will have roundup events April 15-18, and online enrollment is open now. Children that live in Center and Green townships attend G-C schools; there are four elementary schools within the district, and people who are uncertain about which school their child will attend can see the elementary district map at gcsc.k12.in.us.

The first step is to complete the online enrollment form found on the Greenfield Central website, gcsc.k12.in.us. Go to the “Kindergarten Info” tab. Parents need a digital copy of their child’s birth certificate and immunization records (photos are acceptable). Those who are unable to load a digital copy should bring the records to the kindergarten roundup event.

Once the online enrollment form is completed, monitor email for more details about Kindergarten Round Up events, which will occur onsite. Families will sign up for a time slot.

Roundups are 3-6 p.m. April 15 and 17 at Eden Elementary School and JB Stephens Elementary School; and 3-6 p.m. April 16 and April 18 at Harris Elementary School and Weston Elementary School.

Parents who live outside of the district can submit an out of District Transfer application in addition to the kindergarten enrollment online form. The application is also on the corporation’s website, and once completed can be sent to Donieta Ross, [email protected].

Kindergarten-specific questions should be emailed to [email protected].
