HANCOCK COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and contractor Milestone Contractors LP announced in a press release work on I-70 westbound and Ind. 9 near Greenfield.
Beginning on or after Friday, March 22, crews will close the Ind. 9 entrance and exit ramps at 9 p.m. to allow crews to complete resurfacing work on the outside shoulder. Work is expected to be complete Saturday, March 23, at 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Also beginning on or after Friday, March 22, crews will close the right lane of I-70 westbound between CR N 400 E and Mohawk Road at 9 p.m., allowing crews to complete resurfacing work and shoulder strengthening. Work is expected to be complete Friday, March 29, weather permitting.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
