HANCOCK COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Milestone announced a nighttime lane closure on I-70 near Greenfield.
Beginning on or after Tuesday, March 19, crews will close the left eastbound lane of I-70 from milemarker 100.4 to milemarker 103.6 to allow crew to set temporary barrier wall on the inside of the shoulder.
This nighttime closure will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. throughout the week and is expected to be finished by Friday, March 22. The lane with reopen during the daytime.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
