The Hancock County 4-H Horse and Pony Contesting Club had its first riding meeting on March 11 with 10 students practicing in the arena at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds. Leader Tarah Thom worked with the students on walk, trot, canter, changing leads and barrels. Refreshments were served by Jane and Steve Smith, assistant leaders.
