Parks plan coming up at meeting

GREENFIELD – Future ideas for city parks will be discussed at an upcoming meeting.

The city of Greenfield will present its final draft of the new Five-Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan in an upcoming public meeting.

The plan will be at the Greenfield Park Board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at city hall, 10 S. State St., Greenfield. Residents will be able to hear the outcome of the planning process and provide final comments.

Volunteers needed for spring at camp

GREENFIELD – Nameless Creek Camp is seeking families or groups to volunteer at the rural Greenfield facility.

EMT academy starting this May

GREENFIELD – Those who want to kick start a career in the emergency medical field might consider the Greenfield Fire Territory’s 2024 EMT Program.

The class is May 14-Nov. 26 on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Tuition is $1,250 and includes uniform shirts and textbooks; payment plans are available.
