P.A.W.S. to host Easter photo fundraiser

GREENFIELD – Take family photos with your pets and the Easter Bunny in a fundraiser event for Partners for Animal Welfare Society.

P.A.W.S. Hancock will host the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at its store, 1224 W. Main St., Suite G, Greenfield. Cost is $15 per pose and all proceeds benefit the society. Learn more at pawshancock.org.

MV to host teacher recruitment event

FORTVILLE – Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation will have a teacher recruitment event at 6 p.m. March 5.

The event guarantees an interview. Bring a resume and cover letter; a presentation will begin at 6 p.m. with a new teacher panel, videos and student speakers. No reservation is necessary. McCordsville seeks vendors for market

MCCORDSVILLE – The town of McCordsville is looking for small businesses, crafters, farmers, artisans, food vendors and acoustical musicians to participate in Market in McCordsville.

The events will be one Sunday afternoon from May through October at Town Hall Park, 6280 W. 800N., McCordsville. Vendors do not have to commit to participate at every event.

Insect collections sought for display

GREENFIELD – People who have a display of an insect collection might consider donating it to Greenfield Parks and Recreation.

Financial aid meeting coming up

GREENFIELD – Support for graduating high school students and adult learners will be available in an upcoming workshop about financial aid for higher education.

Learn about FAFSA, financial aid applications, at the Hancock County Public Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 2. The library is located at 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield.
