The “Kindness Cougars” — Mandy King’s third grade class at JB Stephens Elementary School — reached their goal of purchasing a book about kindness for every student in the school to take home, thanks to fundraising, community donations and T-shirt sales. The class purchased 560 copies of “What Does it Mean to be Kind?” by Rana DiOrio.
