GREENFIELD – The trigger man police were looking for from an early morning shooting incident in the Kohl’s parking lot Tuesday morning has been arrested. Joseph Camensky, 28, Carthage was taken into custody around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Arrest records show he is facing preliminary charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, neglect of a dependent, and a charge of felon in possession of a weapon of violence. GREENFIELD — Officials with the Greenfield Police Department (GPD) say they’re looking for a Carthage man after he opened fire in the Kohl’s parking lot early Tuesday morning. Police say no one was injured after the shooter fired into a vehicle.

Detectives with the GPD say they believe the man shot a gun into an occupied vehicle and are currently looking for Joseph J. Camensky, 28, Carthage.

Camensky, officials say, is being sought for questioning and is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Officials with the GPD are asking for assistance in tracking down Camensky and say if anyone knows where he is or might be located, to please contact Detective Brandon Pope at 317-477-4410.

Camensky was last seen driving a silver 2009 Chevrolet Equinox with Indiana registration 973DGF. If anyone should see Camensky, do not approach him, but instead call 911 right away.

For people who were in the area of Kohl’s between midnight and 12:45 a.m. Tuesday morning and saw or heard anything, officials would appreciate it if you contact Detective Pope with any information.
