The event is sponsored by Recycle Hancock County: the school that brings in the most pairs of shoes per enrollment wins a school trophy. The class from each participating school that brings in the most pairs of shoes wins a prize for each student. Shoes should be tied together with a rubber band or shoe laces; they should be delivered to the student’s homeroom teacher.
