FARM announces pantry hours

FORTVILLE – The Fortville Area Rescue Mission has announced holiday pantry hours.

FARM will be open from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Dec. 12; 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 14; 12:30-2:30 p.m. Dec. 19; 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 21. The pantry will be closed for the holiday Dec. 26 and Dec. 28.

The pantry is located at 9450 N. 200W., Fortville. For more, call 317-203-9606.

Community choir to perform Christmas show

GREENFIELD – “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” is the theme of Greenfield Community Choir’s concert coming up.

The group will perform a holiday show at 4 p.m. Dec. 10 at Bradley United Methodist Church, 210 W. Main St., Greenfield. Donations are accepted; cookies and punch will be served following the concert.

Students to perform “Christmas at the Movies”

GREENFIELD – “Christmas at the Movies” is the theme of the holiday concerts performed by Greenfield-Central High School music students this month.

The annual GCHS concert featuring all performing arts groups including choirs, orchestra and bands will be at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at the school’s auditorium, 810 N. Broadway St., Greenfield. Tickets are at gcmusic.ludus.com and at the door; cost is $6 for adults, free for students 18 and younger.

Dining event for humane society

GREENFIELD – The Hancock County Humane Society will benefit from a Dine to Donate event this week.

Leo’s Market & Eatery, 2212 W. Main St., Greenfield, will donate 20% of Eatery purchases to the organization from 3-7 p.m. Dec. 8

McCordsville hosts Giving Tree program

MCCORDSVILLE – McCordsville Town Hall’s Giving Tree is available for anybody in the Mt. Vernon community to purchase items for neighbors or children in need.

Visit town hall and pick out an ornament with a listed item; bring it back with the ornament attached so the item can be distributed to the corresponding child or family.

Return gifts by Dec. 15. Town hall is located at 6280 W. 800N., McCordsville; hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
