GREENFIELD — Madison Sonsini scored 26 points to lead three double-figure scorers in Greenfield-Central’s girls basketball victory over Heritage Christian Monday, 57-45.
Trailing by eight at halftime, the Cougars outscored the Eagles 30-10 in the second half.
Chaney Brown had nine of her 14 points in the second half. Brooklyn McConnell hit three 3-pointers and finished with 11.
Greenfield-Central held Heritage Christian (2-3) to just three points in the third quarter on one made 3-point basket.
Sonsini and Brown each had eight rebounds.
Greenfield-Central (5-2) hosts Chatard (2-2) Tuesday, Nov. 28.
