HANCOCK COUNTY — The funeral arrangements for Ashlea Albertson, 24, Greenfield have been set. A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27 at New Palestine United Methodist Church, 3565 S. 500 W., New Palestine. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 p.m. with a meal afterward for all.
“We believe Ashlea would prefer a casual atmosphere with racing shirts and cheery clothing,” her family said on her social media site.
Ashlea, a local race car driver, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-65 Friday. The local race car driver was on her way back from a trip to the Gulf Shores with her fiance when the crash occurred.
