GREENFIELD — The relocation of Kemper Technology Consulting from Indianapolis to Greenfield is fairly new, but for Christa Pike — it’s coming home.

Kemper Technology Consulting, of Kemper CPA Group LLP, recently announced that their move out east has consolidated the two groups under one roof and is ready to offer their services to the Greenfield community.

“We are excited to bring Kemper Technology Consulting to Greenfield, Ind. along with Christa Pike, a local talent with extensive expertise in the technology industry,” said Mike Gibson, partner of Kemper Technology Consulting in a press release.

“By consolidating our resources and expanding our service offerings, we can better serve our clients by providing comprehensive, integrated solutions that drive growth and maximize operational efficiency.”

Services that Kemper Technology Consulting offers fall under a wide category of IT services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, software development and IT consulting for companies that are just getting started or need a little extra help.

For new companies, they help devise plans and execute with infrastructure to get companies up and running. They also help with website rebuilds and phone systems.

Staff consists of network engineers, custom web and application developers with an applications department that primarily focuses on accounting software with specialization in Quickbook and Sage products.

Kemper Technology CPA Group LLP originally started their services in 1958 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Today, the company has expanded to 26 locations throughout Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and California.

Pike, who started out as a public accountant for a small business in Greenfield for 13 years after graduating from IUPUI with a double major in accounting and finance. She joined Kemper Technology Consulting in 2013, just celebrating her 10-year anniversary with the company.

Pike shared that the relocation process started in June of last year, but the firm is now to the point where they are completely moved in and squared away for business. Pike shared that the Kemper Technology Consulting choosing Greenfield made sense being that the Kemper CPA Group LLC already had a location so they would merge under the one roof. She also said that working in her home town again was a positive.

“I was born and raised here in Greenfield for all of my life – within Hancock County I’ve lived all my life,” Pike said. “It felt good to come back home, to work in Greenfield again.”

Pike said working with many different kinds of businesses is exciting and innovating, right in line with IT because it is continuously changing, such as new requirements, practices and more.

“We are consultants, so we are not a ‘this is our product and this is what we offer’,” Pike said. “We are here to help your business in the way that you need help, whether that’s as much or as little. Sometimes that’s not always something you get from an IT firm but that is something you get from Kemper.”
