Larry A. Roy, 66, of Knightstown passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1956 in Somerset, Kentucky the son of Elmer and Louise (Gosser) Roy, Sr.
Larry worked at Tweedy Lumber Company for around 20 years then for Indiana Department of Transportation in highway maintenance for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, loved helping people and being with his family, especially his grandson. Larry had a passion for singing and loved country music. He also was a member of the Sons of the American Legion for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Cathy Roy; daughter, Monica (Brad) Evans; grandson, Zach Evans; brother, Elmer (Carla) Roy, Jr.; several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Eulett; brothers-in-law, Paul “Dinker” Loveall and Ray Eulett.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
