Greenfield-Central High School robotics club members Noah Harris and Sam Houston prepare their robot for a tournament match in late April at the Vex Robotic World Championships in Dallas.

Three Greenfield-Central High School robotics teams participated in the Vex Robotics World Championships in Dallas the last week of April.

Robotics sponsor Nick Kerkhof said that while no teams qualified for elimination rounds, all three teams represented Greenfield-Central well and finished the season among the top 5% that competed across the world.

The teams who made it to the worlds competition this year included Team Ramrod, Dysfuncational and Fibonacci.

A Greenfield-based home school team — 323H Blaze, affiliated with Cornerstone Robotics — also had a strong showing at the world competition, finishing fifth in its division.
