Fox-Thompson named AIM Media Indiana general manager

AIM Media Indiana, LLC has announced the appointment of Karen Fox-Thompson as general manager with responsibility across all AIM media properties in Indiana.

The announcement was made jointly by Jeremy L. Halbreich, Chairman and CEO, AIM Media Management; Rick Starks, President and COO, AIM Media Management; and, Richard Clark, Publisher of the Daily Journal and Vice President and Group Publisher at AIM Media Indiana. It is effective immediately.

In her new role, Fox-Thompson will continue to be based in Columbus and work closely with Clark and all of her associates across AIM Media Indiana, AIM Media Midwest and AIM Media Management to provide the full range of support services principally for the Indiana publications including finance, IT, and HR.

AIM Media Indiana includes the daily newspapers in Franklin, Columbus, Greenfield and Seymour; weekly newspapers in Nashville, Brownstown, Pendleton, New Palestine and Fortville-McCordsville; DigitalAIM, the full service, digital agency; a magazine and special publications division; and all affiliated websites and digital assets.

Fox-Thompson has worked at the company and at its predecessor Home News Enterprises for more than 32 years, her first job as a secretary in the circulation department. She then was promoted to human resources analyst, followed by Information Services Director, Human Resources and Information Technology Director, and most recently as Assistant Controller.

She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, magna cum laude.
