Taunya Michelle (Watts) Brandom, 49, of Pendleton passed away at her home on April 11, 2023. She was born on August 11, 1973, in Indianapolis to Richard Allen and Jacquelyn Sue (Coleman) Watts. She is a 1991 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and a 1995 graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Marketing.

Taunya worked as a Senior Account Executive for Lockton Companies. She was a former member of Tri Kapa in Pendleton, she loved her cats, traveling and crafting with her Cricut. She collected sugar skulls and loved shopping, concerts, and going on girls trips. She and Cassidy enjoyed going to New York together. She was known for drinking “foamies”.

Taunya is survived by her daughter Cassidy Lauryn Brandom; parents Richard and Jacquelyn Watts; significant other Aaron Coryell; brother Brent (Becky) Watts; nieces Savannah and Cierra Watts; nephews Logan and Isaac Watts and Nolan Brandom; ex-husband Jason Brandom; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by grandparents Lester “Jack” and Viola Coleman and Charles and Goldie Watts; Uncle Larry Watts; and in-laws John and Ronda Brandom.

A Memorial Service in honor of Taunya’s life was held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Seals Funeral Home. She was then laid to rest at Grove Lawn Cemetery in Pendleton. The family requests memorial donations in Taunya’s honor be made to Hancock Regional Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center, 801 N. State Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
