Why are you running for office?
I feel like I have something to contribute to the growth of the city of Greenfield.
How are you qualified?
Owning my own company has allowed me to manage my time, be prompt for appointments, deal positively with the public and be self motivated. It has prompted me to think about problems from more than one point of view.
What are the most pressing issues facing Greenfield?
I personally think that there are some roads that are beyond being repaired. Budgeting, staying within that budget and getting rid of unnecessary items. Controlling growth in a way that is advantageous to the city.
Do you support increasing the general tax rate for the Greenfield Fire Protection Territory? Why or Why not?
Not in the immediate future. First, we need to see if we can find some funds from elsewhere to push toward this department. Then, we can see if it’s reasonable to increase the taxes for this. I would hesitate to vote positively for any tax hikes without looking at the budget first.
