GREENFIELD
Louann (Parker) Masters, age 78, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Born in Anderson, Indiana, on March 2, 1945, she was the daughter of Mildred L. (Copeland) and Clinton E. Parker. She graduated from Hancock Central High School. On November 8, 1961, Louann married Charles Masters in Tennessee.
For 50 years, she owned Old Yard Recycling in Greenfield. In addition, Louann was the co-owner of Anderson Speedway for 17 years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, shopping and going to church. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Louann is survived by her children, Chad (Kittie) Masters of Fortville and Chastity (Adrian) Mardis of Greenfield; grandchildren, Taylor Mardis, Andy Mardis, Chase Masters and Cadence Masters; great-grandchild, Joel Mardis; and brother, Richard Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Clinton; husband, Charles; and siblings, Marge Holloway, Larry Parker and Tom Parker.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
