FOUNTAINTOWN
Lisa M. Walters, age 56, of Fountaintown, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 23, 1966. She graduated from Greenfield-Central High School with the class of 1986. In October of 2015, Lisa married Scott Walters in Greenfield.
For many years, she worked as a press operator, most recently at Freudenberg-NOK in Morristown. Lisa liked to spend lots of time outdoors. She had a love for gardening, watching and feeding the birds. Lisa also enjoyed decorating her home, being with her dog, Batman, and spending time with her family.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Scott Walters of Fountaintown; daughter, Jenna Lewman of Greenfield; grandson, William Jasper Rather “Hunk of Burning Love”; mother, Lauretta Arthur of Greenfield; siblings, Deborah (Karl) Kuehn of Greenfield, Georgeanna Bell of Toledo, OH, Gordon Weil of WI, Leanna Gillespie of Toledo, OH and Blair Gillespie of Toledo, OH; and biological mother, Linda Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Arthur; infant daughter, Jennifer Marie Lewman; and biological father, George Young.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140.
