GREENFIELD – The Greenfield Police Department has started handing out $25 coupons to people pulled over for broken taillights, improper brakes or failed headlights to encourage motorists to get them fixed.
The GPD announced the program Wednesday on social media with the hashtag #NoTicketLetsFixIt.
The department partnered with Jiffy Lube of Indiana as a solution to minor traffic infractions while promoting road safety and preventative maintenance so citizens can avoid future violations.
