“The Addams Family” coming to downtown Greenfield

GREENFIELD – The creepy and kooky story of “The Addams Family” comes to downtown Greenfield this weekend.

The Ricks-Weil Theatre Company will present its spring 2023 production March 24-31 and April 1-2. The comical feast embraces the wackiness in every family, and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart man from a respectable family. Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

Show times for the play that features new, local actors as well as long-time veterans are 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays at the H.J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St., Greenfield. For tickets, visit seatyourself.biz/ricksweiltheatrecompany. For updates on the show, visit facebook.com/RicksWeilTheatreCompany.
