Penny (Stohler) Majors, age 75, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at her home. She was born in Anderson on July 8, 1947 to Wilma (Tuterow) and Harold Stohler. She graduated from Pendleton High School with the class of 1965 and became an x-ray technician through Methodist Hospital. On April 16, 1967, Penny married Dr. J. Paul Majors in Pendleton.

For many years, she worked at various hospitals as an x-ray technician. Penny liked volunteering at the Hancock County Food Pantry, doing yoga, traveling and working in her yard. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Penny is survived by her loving daughters, Kristi Tomlinson (Dustin), Jaime Noehre (Sheldon), Shelle Majors; grandchildren, Dustin, Austin, Braydon, Kylie, Tyler, Clayton, Carter, Cooper, Brian and Mason; great-grandchild, Silas; and siblings, Cindy Smetana (Rick) and Steve Stohler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Majors; parents, Harold Stohler and Loucille Stohler; and brother, Mike Stohler.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory in Greenfield.
