WILTON, CA
Tammy Lee Newman (Closser) previously of Carthage, Indiana and residing in Wilton, CA since 2006 passed away on February 23, 2023, in Wilton from complications related to Glioblastoma.
Tammy is survived by her husband Larry, her three children, Rachel, Matt, and Marcie and four stepchildren, Jared, Chris, Alexandra, and Jessica. She is also survived by her father Robert Closser and stepmother Carol Closser of Carthage, Indiana. Also surviving are her nephews Luke and John Eichle and her sisters Darla Graham, Karol Eichle, and Cathy as well as her two brothers Richie Closser and Jeff Meeker. Burial services were held on March 3, 2023, at Green Valley Cemetery in Rescue, CA. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on March 22, 2023, at the Elks Lodge at 5pm in Rancho Cordova, CA
Tammy requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
