MARTINSVILLE
Elnora Ann Larson, 75, of Martinsville, passed away on January 9, 2023. She was born on August 29, 1947 in Indianapolis to Richard and Vera (Essick) Blacketer. She graduated from Warren Central High School. Elnora worked in childcare for many providers over the years including the before and after-school programs at Lawrence Central Schools. She was an avid genealogist and was known to frequent cemeteries gathering as much historical data at possible.
Elnora is survived by her sons David R. (Christine) Larson and Richard Michael (Carrie Newman) Larson; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Linda Kirby and Marianne Moore. She is preceded in death by her husband David J. Larson; daughter Lorianne Sossaman; parents Richard and Vera Blacketer; sister Joyce Abrams; and brother Richard Blacketer.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Elnora will be laid to rest a Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN.
