GREENFIELD
Mary E. Frost, age 95, formerly of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023. Born on November 24, 1927, she was the daughter of John W. Brookeshire and Mary’s beloved mother, Loma L. (Alspaugh) Brookshire.
Growing up on a farm in Knightstown, Mary enjoyed working outside and always loved being outdoors. She married William (Bill) F. Frost in 1947 and they soon began collecting all things “old” from dolls to cars and everything in between. They operated “Park Avenue Antiques” for nearly fifty years while working at their respective careers. Mary was the long-term office manager at the Greenfield Indiana Gas Company (now Vectren) and was known as the “go-to” person for everything.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Bill; and sister, Eunice Ewing.
Mary was much loved by several nieces and nephews who are left to cherish her memory.
Private family services were held for Mary by Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory in Greenfield. Entombment took place at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
