GREENFIELD, IN

Christopher Alan Eberhardt, 53, Greenfield, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. Chris was born on February 14, 1969, in Lafayette, IN, to Judith Ann (Selleck) and the late Charles Henry Eberhardt. Chris is a 1987 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.

Chris started working at Architectural Glass &Metal Company on October 25, 1998, and was employed there as a Fabrication Manager until his untimely passing. Although Chris was a workaholic, he did find time to watch TV, fish, golf, and travel, especially to Florida. He had a witty, sarcastic, and dark sense of humor. He loved his family. He also found a ritual every Saturday &Sunday to take his beloved dogs to Hardees for a sausage breakfast biscuit. Chris also found great satisfaction in showing his love for and appreciation to those who served our country either by buying their lunches while out or replacing a tattered American flag.

He is survived by his loving mother, Judy (Clois G.) Bowling; significant other of 13 years, Denise Linkous; siblings, Connie (Julian) Railey and Kevin Eberhardt; nieces and nephews: Haley Durham (Alec Hutchinson), Philip Durham, Joseph Railey, Chappell (Daniel) Alcuria, Jonathan (Naomi) Eberhardt, Jessica (Bubba) Gorman, and Jordan Eberhardt; great nieces, Daniella Alcuria and Elaina Alcuria; step-son, Tyler Costigan (Madisen Deal); affectionately known as “Pa” to Oliver Costigan and Hazyll Costigan; beloved dogs, Duke and Azalia; best friend, Bodo Schick; and many, many friends and coworkers.
