ANDERSON
Steven Alan Lewis, 78, of Anderson, passed peacefully on October 27, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 4, 1944 in Anderson, the son of Earl Pete and Wenogene “Wennie” (Davis) Lewis. To know Steve was to love him. He greeted everyone with a hug and was a beautiful source of light and love.
Steven was employed by General Motors for 30 years, where he was a zone committeeman, retiring in 1993. He was employed for 15 years after retirement at CVS Pharmacy. He attended Unity Church, where he served as board president for several years. Steven enjoyed Blues music, motorcycles, nature, being outdoors, spending time with his family and his special dog, Ridley.
He is survived by his three children; Christy (Darrell Graham) Stansberry, Steven (wife Tammy) Lewis, Tina (Jim Marroquin) Lewis; grandchildren, Brittani Mort (Rich), Breanne Lewis, Cody Riddle (Taylor), Joshua Wamble (Brandy), Jessica Lewis, Jordan Watkins, Dylan Lewis, Austin Lewis, Peyton Stansberry; great grandchildren, Brynnan Mort, Asher Riddle, Delaney Mort, Tinsley Mort, Aurora Lewis, Arabella Watkins, Lilly Wamble, Ronin Riddle, Ellie Riddle; siblings, Jody (Stan) Lord, Greg (Cindy) Lewis; brother-in-law, Jim Vaughn; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Penny Vaughn; brother, Roger Lewis; two special dogs Konnor and Strider.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday from Noon until 2 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Friends of Mounds.
