Congressman Greg Pence: Hoosiers deserve better than Biden’s extreme agenda

Rep. Greg Pence

On Wednesday night, President Joe Biden took to the podium in Washington, D.C to share the dark closing message Democrats have for America.

Instead of seeking to reassure the American people that their Administration and Democrat majorities in Congress are working to alleviate the pain from the inflation crisis their policies have created – the President used his moment on the national stage to deliver yet another patronizing, bitter, and divisive speech.

The Good Book reminds us that wisdom cries out in the streets. I believe in the wisdom of the American People, yet their needs, under this Administration, have fallen on Washington’s deaf ears.

As I travel Indiana’s Sixth Congressional District, Hoosiers tell me they desperately want Washington to deliver policies that will deliver an economy that is strong, a nation that is safe, a government that is accountable, and an American future built on freedom.

In the closing days of the 2022 midterm elections, it’s become clear Republicans are best suited to deliver on those promises.

Democrats know this too. It’s why they’ve spent months trying to talk about anything else.

They want to distract Americans from their extreme agenda that’s led to inflation at record highs, a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, energy costs that are through the roof, a national violent crime wave blanketing our cities, and an open border that is allowing drugs and crime to flow into the U.S. under this Administration and their liberal majorities on Capitol Hill.

Americans are struggling to keep up with bills, buy groceries and fill the gas tank because of Democrat policies in Washington. Democrats and the Washington elite don’t feel the pain of everyday Americans, because they are the cause of it.

Americans should know that should Republicans win back the House, we will lead. A Republican House majority will utilize the legislative branch to advance policies that make life easier and more affordable. A Republican House will also serve as the last line of defense against the White House and their extreme liberal agenda.

In 2020, Democrats at every level of government campaigned on a “return to normalcy” yet the last two years of their one-party governing have seen Washington amble from one self-made crisis to the next.

We cannot continue down the path of governance by crisis. America cannot afford more record inflation, skyrocketing energy costs, and high interest rates.

This Tuesday, I urge everyone who has grown tired of Washington working against you to get out and vote Republican. The American Dream and future of our nation depends on it.
