New Palestine
Carolyn Louise Evans of New Palestine went home on September 24, 2022. She was born June 4, 1930, in Hancock County where she was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of Albert and Lillie Brinkman Rodebeck.
She worked more than 20 years at Conner Prairie Living History Museum where she filled many roles, including interpreter, retiring in July, 2011.
She is survived by daughter, Beverly Elliott (Jeffrey), and son, Michael Evans (Christina), bonus son, Ronald Day (Nancy), proud grandmother of Aaron Day (Tina), Mike Oliver (Dede), Brian Oliver (Diane), Ryan Evans (Mayelin), Natalie Galor (Jonathan), Paul Elliott (Jessica), Heather Elliott, Cody Elliott, and several great grandchildren.
She bequeathed her body to the Indiana University School of Medicine Anatomical Education Program.
A celebration of life will take place at Zion Lutheran Church, New Palestine, Friday, November 11, 2022, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.
