Gayle L. Howell, 45, of Pendleton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 12, 2022. She was born on May 12, 1977, in Lima, OH.

Gayle was a 1995 graduate of Lima Senior High School.

She enjoyed caring for and watching her grandchildren grow up, raising her therapeutic chickens, spending time with family and friends, and music.

Gayle was an avid Ohio State fan.

Gayle began her relationship with Jesus in 1998. She attended Fall Creek Christian Church. Gayle was also a member of the William Paul Gallagher American Legion Auxiliary #96 in Lima, OH. She was a treasurer for Cub Scouts.

Gayle was preceded in death by her father, Michael Henderson, her step-father, Homer Sellers, her brother, Scott Henderson, her grandfather, Gale Thompson, her grandmother, Beulah “Nana” Thompson, her grandmother, Joann Gaskin, her grandfather, Jesse Henderson, and her grandmother, Sue Henderson; and her uncle, Jim Hoffer.

She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart of 30 years, Nate Howell; her children, Leah (Zach) Smith, Alex (Hope) Howell, and Seth Howell; her grandchildren, Violet, Athena, Kason, Kalen, and Rowen; her mother, Kay Sellers; her sister, Mariah (Tony) Ross; her nephews, Jared Ross and Tyler (Alex) Ross; her aunt, Pat Hoffer; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 22, at 10:00 A.M. at Fall Creek Christian Church, 1102 W. 700 S., Pendleton, with Pastor Tom Wiles officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, October 21, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes &Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, and on Saturday from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the church.

Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
