GREENFIELD
Eura Jerreldene (Ring) Pyles, known to most as Jerri, age 85, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital. Born on April 1, 1937, in Russell, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Margie Velma (Osborne) and William Carroll Ring. She was a 1955 graduate of Greenfield High School. On January 2, 1971, Jerri married Robert William Pyles in Marion, Indiana.
For over 30 years, she worked as a server at the White House Restaurant in Greenfield. Additionally, she was an Avon representative for over 20 years. Jerri enjoyed spending time reading, writing, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and painting. She loved her family and cherished time spent with them.
Jerri is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert; children, Curtis “Curt” Schrieber of Greenfield, Brenda Anderson (Steve) of Fillmore, IN, Margie Goble (Jeff) of Greenfield, Bonita McClure (Rick) of Brooklyn , IN, and Yancy Pyles (Amy) of Fortville; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandson; and brother, Melvin Ring (Joyce) of Franklin, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Christine Perew; brother, Elvin Ring; and daughter-in-law, Diane Schrieber.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Kinion officiating. Entombment at Washington Park East Cemetery will take place on a later date.
