Beverly Kay (Galloway) Leisure, age 80, of Carthage, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born on October 17, 1941 to Mary (Radcliff) and Loral Galloway. She worked at Indiana Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Children’s Home in Knightstown for 16 years. After retiring, Beverly enjoyed spending time gardening, crocheting, and embroidering. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Beverly is survived by her loving children, Sheryl (Steve) Brock, Keith Leisure, and Allan Leisure; grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah) Brock, Amber (Eric) Jenkins, Heather (Collin) McGovern, Sirena (David) Brinton, Shaina Livingstone, Andrew (Katie) Leisure, and Adam Leisure; great-grandchildren, Connor Brock, Kaylen Jenkins, Charles Jenkins, Riley McGovern, Madelyn McGovern, Jocelyn Leisure, Melanie Livingstone , Elizabeth Livingstone, Claire Livingstone, Austin Wooldridge-Butcher, Landyn Leisure, Laighn Leisure, Kaleigh Leisure, Ally Piper, and Colton Piper; cousin, LaDonna Gardner; sister-in-law, Beverly Galloway; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Loral and Mary Galloway; brothers, Lawrence, Robert and Norman Galloway; and sisters, Thelma Clark, Helen Combs, Pauline Oien, and Sandy Galloway.
A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery, 621 S. State St., Greenfield, IN 46140, on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at noon. Jake Brown will be officiating. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140 at 11:30 a.m. A funeral dinner will follow the burial at Walnut Ridge Friends Meeting, 8956 W. 800 N., Carthage, IN.
