Gala sponsorships available

GREENFIELD – Sponsorship opportunities are available now for the Greenfield Central School Foundation’s Red Letter Gala.

The gala will be at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Adaggio’s, 599 W. Memory Lane, Greenfield.

Sports and Spirits event set

GREENFIELD – The Second Annual Sports and Spirits fundraiser benefiting the Greenfield-Central Booster Club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 6.

The event will be at St. Michael Catholic School’s Father Severin Life Center, 515 Jefferson Blvd., Greenfield. The $30 event ticket includes heavy appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages; a cash bar is available. Proceeds go toward all G-C athletes. G-CHS special guests and hall of fame members will be honored.

Ortman earns DVM from Oklahoma State

NEW PALESTINE – Jamie Lynn Ortman of New Palestine graduated this spring from Oklahoma State University with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree.

Oklahoma State University is a land-grant university with more than 32,000 students across its five-campus system and more than 22,000 on its combined Stillwater and Tulsa campuses, with students from all 50 states and more than 100 nations.

Kauchak earns software engineering degree

NEW PALESTINE – Kyrstin Kauchak of New Palestine graduated summa cum laude this spring with a bachelor of science degree in software engineering, having majored in software engineering.

Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio with a student body of nearly 19,000.

Burhenn earns dean’s list honor

MCCORDSVILLE – McCordsville resident Max Burhenn was named to the dean’s list of University of Findlay for the spring 2022 semester. To earn the achievement, students must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

The private university is located in Findlay, Ohio and enrolls more than 3,500 students.
