GREENFIELD
Paul L. Honaker, age 82, of Greenfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Golden LivingCenter – Greenfield. He was born in New Lisbon, Indiana on September 24, 1939 to Herman Leslie and Daisy L. (Nash) Honaker. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. Paul married Judy (Driesbach) on June 4, 1961.
He worked for Greenfield Power &Light as a line foreman for over 53 years before retiring in 2009. Paul liked fishing, bowling, woodworking, collecting clocks, going to Nascar races, and watching them on television. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and dogs.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Judy Honaker; children, Diana (Steven) Moore of New Palestine and John Honaker of Greenfield; grandchildren, Shelby Honaker, Sara Honaker, Christopher Moore, Amanda Moore, Michael Moore, and Jeffery Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Daisy Honaker; brother, Gordon Lee Honaker; and brother-in-law, Jerry Driesbach.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place on a later date at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
