FORTVILLE – The final steel beam for the Fortville Elementary School expansion project got a personalized touch last month.
The construction company set out the last beam outside of the fence for FES staff and students to sign. While the beam will be placed above the ceiling, the signatures of students and staff in 2022 will forever be a part of the history of the structure.
Izabell Redus, Caden Weitz and Clementine Meyer were among the Fortville Elementary students that recently signed a steel beam, which will be placed above the ceiling at the school.
