Area churches have Easter egg hunts planned for this weekend and next. Here’s where to head with your basket:

Saturday (April 9)

-Gateway Community Church in Fortville, where the egg hunt also includes doughnuts and bounce houses, 10 a.m. to noon at 125 E. Staat St.

-Mt. Comfort Church, 10 a.m. at 3179 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield. Event includes age-group egg hunts, crafts, door prizes and the Easter story.

-Fortville Church of the Nazarene, Helicopter Egg Drop at 12:30 p.m., with egg hunt starting at 1 p.m. at 701 S. Maple St., Fortville.

April 16

-Riley Park in Greenfield, 10 a.m., for an egg hunt sponsored by Bradley United Methodist Church.

-Brown’s Chapel Wesleyan Church, 10 a.m. at 994 N. County Road 600E, Greenfield.

-Heather Hills Baptist Church, 10 a.m. at 1421 N. German Church Road, Indianapolis (Cumberland).

-New Palestine United Methodist Church, 10 a.m. at 3565 S. County Road 500W, New Palestine (presented by Celebrations Child Care and the church).

-Trinity Park United Methodist Church, 10 a.m. at 207 W. Park Ave., Greenfield.

April 17

-St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where an egg hunt is planned after the 8 a.m. Mass at 523 S. Merrill St., Fortville.

-New Life Christian Fellowship, 9:30 a.m. at 1574 State Road 234, Fortville.

-Eden United Methodist Church, where an egg hunt is planned after 9:30 a.m. worship at 2122 E. Eden Road, Greenfield

-Zion Lutheran Church, where an egg hunt is planned between services (about 10:20 a.m.) at 6513 W. County Road 300S, New Palestine.

-Greenfield Church of Christ, noon at 1380 S. State St., Greenfield.
