HANCOCK COUNTY — The county reported a new COVID-19 death this week, raising its total to 245.
According to the Indiana Department of Health, the victim was a woman in her 70s who died on Feb. 18.
The county’s daily COVID-19 case count continues to remain low, with just four known new cases added between Feb. 28 and March 1.
Indiana reported 47 new COVID-19 deaths Thursday, occurring between Dec. 18, 2021 and March 1, 2022. The state reported 452 new cases spanning between Jan. 10 and March 1. Statewide COVID-19 hospitalizations had dropped to 751 as of March 1.
