GREENFIELD
Mr. Steven A. Neuerman, age 62, of Greenfield, Indiana entered this life on July 21, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the loving son of Harry Samuel and Janet Ruth Steele Neuerman. He was raised in Lawrence and graduated in 1977 from Lawrence Central. He then received his associates degree from Indiana Central University and his bachelors from Indiana Wesleyan. On April 7, 1979 he was united in marriage to Patricia “Patty” Risden in Madison, Indiana. This happy union of nearly 43 years was blessed with a son, Carey and a daughter, Katie. The family settled in Greenfield and Steve began a career with Indiana Gas. The company later became NTT Data Inc. and he worked out of the Indianapolis office and was currently the senior program project manager for the past 38 years. He worked early in life in a machine shop and at a carpet cleaning company. He was a faithful long-time member of The Caring Place Church in Indianapolis where he served as a Connect Group Leader for 25 years, and usher and on the church board. Steve will be remembered for his love of others and willingness to help anyone. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed helping to care for his granddaughter. Steve died on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 8:19 a.m. at the Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, Indiana after a battle with Covid 19. Steve will be missed by his loving wife of nearly 43 years, Patricia “Patty” Risden Neuerman of Greenfield, Indiana; his son, Carey S. Neuerman and his wife, Brooke of Greenfield, Indiana; his daughter, Katie Neuerman of Pendleton, Indiana; his granddaughter, Ellis Chase Neuerman; his mother, Janet Ruth Neuerman Steinbrook and her husband, Les of North Fort Myers, Florida; his brother, Gary Scott Neuerman and his wife, Anne Marie of Greenwood, Indiana; his aunt, Mono Caho and her husband, Bob of Florida; his sisters in laws, Debra “Debbie” Thomas of Columbus, Indiana, Barbara “Barb” Starr of Cincinnati, Ohio, Teresa “Terri” Pruett and her husband, Ralph of San Antonio, Texas; several cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Samuel Neuerman, died June 22, 2015. Services will be conducted Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 12:00 Noon, by Pastor Jon Susa and Pastor Chad Temple at the The Caring Place Church, 2901 North Post Road in Indianapolis, Indiana. Interment will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens,9306 North U.S. 421 near Madison, Indiana. Friends may visit Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon at the The Caring Place, 2901 North Post Road Indianapolis, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to The Caring Place.
