Inspiring Abilities Expo scheduled

GREENFIELD – The Inspiring Abilities Expo offering families and professionals a chance to meet with the unique needs of people with disabilities is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26. Heritage cooking class planned

GREENFIELD – Local homemakers will demonstrate how to make biscuits, bread, noodles and pie crust in a Heritage Cooking Class at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 in the Sarah Burke Exhibit Hall at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 Apple St., Greenfield. Crouch to speak at fundraiser

GREENFIELD – Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch will be the featured guest speaker at a fundraiser luau for The Landing Place.

The event is at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd., Greenfield. Registration is available at thelandingplacehc.com. Dinner tickets are $35 with sponsor tables also available. The Landing Place offers a safe place for people to learn recovery principles, valuing faith, confidentiality and connections with others. INDOT seeks comment on 5-year road plan

GREENFIELD – The Indiana Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on a five-year planning and construction document for the state’s roads.

INDOT is in the process of updating the 2022-23 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. A draft is available at www.in.gov/indot/STIP. The public comment window is open through Feb. 16. The website will also host a virtual town hall public comment meetings today, Feb. 9.
