Breakfast raises mission funds

EDEN — Eden United Methodist Church will serve breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 5) at the church, 2122 Eden Road, Greenfield.

Donations will be accepted to support local and global missions work.

Grief group meets in McCordsville

McCORDSVILLE — Circle of Caring grief support group next meets at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

The group meets in the adult classroom at the end of the hallway by the back door. No registration is required, organizers say; just come as you are, whenever you would like. This group is currently facilitated by John Myrland.

Fortville mission offers evening pantry hours

FORTVILLE — Fortville Area Rescue Mission has monthly evening hours at the food pantry it operates with the support of various area churches.

The pantry is housed inside Fortville Christian Church, 9450 N. County Road 200W.

The next evening time slot will be Feb. 15. Doors open for social time from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with pantry hours from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Chicken noodle dinner set

KNIGHTSTOWN — The annual chicken noodle dinner at Knightstown United Methodist Church is set for 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 5) in the Fellowship Hall at the church, 27 S. Jefferson St.

The menu features homemade noodles served with mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw, drink, and homemade roll, followed by homemade pie.

A free-will offering will be accepted.

Blood drive set in McCordsville

McCORDSVILLE — A community blood drive is set for 3 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.

Walk-in blood donors are welcome.
